Executive Director -
Seeking an energetic, self-starting, well-organized multitasker to serve as
executive director. This flexible 20 hour/week position would allow a candidate living in the Dallas area to telecommute.
An ideal candidate will:·

Cultivate donors and manage funds

Recruit, train, and manage volunteers

Apply for grants
-
Track finances and pay all bills
-
Collect and deliver donated household items
-
Represent PHP in the community·

Create and maintain communications (including newsletters, website, and thank you letters)

Report current activities at monthly board of directors meeting
-
Set board agendas and manage minutes from past meetings
-
Select, research, and purchase property for Project New Construct· Manage Project New Construct property development (supervise contractors, pay bills, file city paperwork, close properties)

Manage Project Rehab home improvement over five consecutive weekends each spring and fall (supervise contractors and volunteers, coordinate workflow, buy supplies, provide meals)

Monitor client progress, referring them to appropriate social services

Maintain files on applications for assistance, grants, volunteers, and community resources
-
Maintain CHDO, 501(c)(3), and all other necessary certifications
-
Handle day-to-day communications and operations
